And welcome back to my blog! It has been a minute since I published a new blog post! Between the work that is being done on my parent’s house and all the fun stuff happening over at AM Women Magazine, I have just been super busy and haven’t been able to be as consistent with this blog as I initially intended. I know, excuses, excuses, but I have a lot of exciting content planned for the home projects we’re working on! I am hoping to be better about posting more frequent updates about that for those who are interested in following along, so stay tuned!
Valentine’s Day is coming up, and while it’s not a holiday we believe in or celebrate as Muslims, it is a reminder for a lot of us to take time out of our busy lives to do something special with our significant others, our loved ones, or ourselves even. And yes, while I agree that we should treat everyday like it’s Valentine’s Day in the sense that we should always show our love, affection, and appreciation to our loved ones, life and all of its responsibilities can make it hard for a lot of people to frequently spend quality time with their loved ones (or with themselves), whether it’s because of their jobs, children, or other obligations they may have.
So whether you have a date night planned with hubby, dinner plans with your family, a Galentine’s-night-in with the girls, or a night spent alone relaxing and doing some much-needed self-care, I put together some modest Valentine’s Day outfits you can wear no matter what your plans are!
